| Tonight, Company 3 members dedicated time to developing important skills. Tonight’s focus was on radio communication and back boarding patients.
Led by member S.Nero, members learned how to use both the mobile radio in the units as well as the portable radios. (Not pictured) Members learned proper radio etiquette, how to switch channels and what each channel is used for.
Led by EMS Captain Case, Members practiced the application of a cervical collar and learned proper technique for holding the cervical spine. They also received instruction on using a new disposable strap that will be incorporated into the volunteer units. Everyday is a good day to train. |
