At 0154 hours Calvert 911 alerted units from Solomons and surrounding stations to a MVA reported Serious on Cove Point Rd in the Lusby area of the first due. Squad 3 and the Career BLS as well as the ALS ambulance quickly were out the door. Squad 3 arrived to find a single Box Truck on its drivers side with the occupant still in the cab area unable to exit the truck cab. The squad crew removed a half of the front windshield with a battery powered sawzall to free the occupant who walked out. Patient was checked out and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
