Carol Langley has been a member of Solomons since 2017! Carol is currently an active EMT and rides the ambulance frequently, as well as our department's Corresponding Secretary. Mrs. Carol is being recognized as our February Active/Regular Member of the Month! Mrs. Carol is known for being one of the most compassionate providers we have here at SVRSFD. She goes the extra mile to help her patients and ensures they are always taken care of from the moment she meets them to the moment she leaves the hospital. SVRSFD is so lucky to have a provider as dedicated to her patients as Mrs. Carol! Anytime Mrs. Carol can help with anything around the station or help any of our members, she jumps into action with a helping hand!

We asked Mrs. Carol to share some of her favorite things about being a volunteer and a member of SVRSFD, and this is what she said!

“I love helping others and giving back to the community, participating in Fire Prevention events and volunteering with my daughters. My daughters, Leigh Ann (Co 7) and Stacy (Solomons) inspired me to join by watching them volunteer over the years and hearing how they helped others. It took me awhile to get up the nerve to join, and now wish I had joined sooner. My favorite part about being a member of SVRSFD is how willing the members are to help me improve by sharing their skills and knowledge!”

Mrs. Carol is an amazing person and member and we are beyond grateful to have her!
