This first due pumper is normally housed at the Solomons annex station on Little Cove Point Rd.  Primarly utilized in our first due in hydrant areas Engine 34 has become the first due pumper for the Ranch Club and northern parts of Solomons first due.  Engine 34 is classified as a class "A" attack pumper whose primary function is to be utilized for offensive and defensive operations on the fireground.   After many years of service Engine 34 was refurbished in 2009.

 

In the spring of 2009 the Solomons Volunteers had Engine 34 transported to Florida to be refurbished by E-One.  During the refurbishment Engine 34 had several issues resolved.  Engine 34 was refreshed additionally with a new paint job, new lettering, new dashboard, new generator and complete LED light package.
