2013 Rosenbauer Commander
1500 GPM Hale Pump
2000 Gallon Water Tank
Foam Inductor System
Cummins ISL9 450 HP Motor

Allison 3000 EVS Transmission

Engine 33/Tanker 3 is classified as a pumper tanker. This is because it serves a dual purpose as a first due engine and a tanker. Engine 33 is the first due engine in the Solomons first due where hydrants are lacking. With 2000 gallons of water on board crews which utilize Engine 33 as the attack pumper have more than enough water on board to make a serious knock down on most fires that are ran. Under the designation of Tanker 3 this piece of apparatus assists our neighboring departments by running in tanker shuttles where hydrant systems are not available. For the years that Engine 33/Tanker 3 has served as an apparatus at Solomons it has proven time and time again to be a very valuable resource for the community.
