Mr. Devin Denton has been a member of SVRSFD for 9 months and ever since he joined he has brought lots of laughter and joy to our firehouse family! Devin is being recognized for our Regular/Active Member of the Month for January! Devin is a firefighter and is soon hoping to start EMT class to continue to gain more knowledge to help the people in our community. Devin is known for getting his fellow members involved in training and is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who is struggling with a new skill. Devin is a great friend to all around him and always makes sure the people he cares about are taken care of.

When we asked Devin what his favorite part about volunteering and being a member of SVRSFD, this is what he said!

“The thing I like most about volunteering is helping my community. My favorite part about being a member of SVRSFD is spending time with the members here and spending time with my Solomon’s family. I am proud to call these people my family, the people who help me, take care of me and most importantly the people that show me love and support.”

We are so lucky to have such an amazing young man as a member of our department!!
