SVRSFD members (left to right) Dr. David Hupp, John Pardoe, CT Thomas, and Rick Hargrave were privileged to participate in the Heroes, Inc. golf tournament last week. Heroes, Inc. is a non-profit that supports the spouses and children of law enforcement officers and firefighters who gave their lives in the line of duty to the greater Washington, D.C. community. The team was sponsored in affiliation with the Maryland Fire Chiefs Association, which serves as an organization representing volunteer and career Chief Officers throughout Maryland. The MFCA is a professional association that specializes in promoting and supporting excellence in fire and emergency services management.

While the high temperatures made play challenging, the event was both successful and fun. CT Thomas is pictured holding a compressed air launcher for a tee shot, the added yardage was very much appreciated.
