The Solomons Volunteer Rescue Squad and Fire Department was excited to host the annual Junior Firefighter Training day put on by Calvert County Parks and Recreation. This is an annual event that is hosted by several fire departments in the county. This event is for 3 to 5-year-olds, and we had 27 kids registered. It is always a fun event and a great way to interact with our community. We love to teach the next generation of firemen and firewomen.
