Today Feb 2nd, 2022 a crew of five volunteers staffed Engine 34 and answered the call for help sent out by the Baltimore Cite Fire Department. We were just one of many Calvert County units to answer the call for support throughout Baltimore City along with many other departments from across the state and region. Our crew was assigned to Station 20 on Eastern Avenue. Shortly before 10 am fill-in crews were alerted to smoke coming from the abandoned Heritage High School in Clifton Park. After an investigation crews deemed this a working fire with two rooms in flames. All crews involved made quick work of the fire before it spread. It was a true honor to help out our fellow brothers and sisters in their time of need. We are "Volunteers Proud to Serve" |
