At approximately 0302 hours crews were dispatched for a female experiencing leg pains. Once Ambulance 38 marked up more information was revealed that the patient was out searching for her dog and had fallen becoming pined. The location was unknown. With updated information a Rescue Box was initiated and Squad 3 was added to the call. Upon arrival on the last known location Chief 3 assumed command and requested assistance from Squad 7 and Squad 27 to find the patient. Upon arrival of additional crews the patient was located within a ravine. Crews freed the trapped patient and transported her via a stokes basket out of the woods to the waiting EMS crews. Ambulance 38 and Medic 102 transported the patient to Calvert for further evaluation. Crews cleared at approximately 0600 hrs.
