At approximately 0030 hrs Solomons and surrounding departments were dispatched for a reported smoke in the residences on El Dorado Ln. Engine 31 and Ambulance 39 quickly responded towards the location. Safety 3 arrived on location to find a two story single family home with a working fire in the kitchen. Engine 31 laid out its supply line in from El Dorado Dr and quickly deployed an attack line into the residence. Engine 71 arrived soon after and picked up Engine 31's supply. Crews from Engine 31 and 71 made quick extinguishment of the fire. Units operated on scene for approximately two hours assisting the fire marshal and checking for hot spots. Units clear at 0234 hrs and returned to service
