Today members from the department assisted in clearing several roadways of fallen trees. One particular call was called into the station as a service call and the we responded. Members arrived to find a large evergreen tree had fallen across the callers neighboring driveway. The tree was cleared with help from some of neighbors and one young boy in particular who made the tree clearing go from a serious job to a fun event. By the end of the call we were all laughing and having a good time with citizens in our community and even found a future member of Solomons. All in all it was a great call for both us and the citizens.
