At approximately 1800 hrs before the business meeting the Solomons Volunteers performed the traditional pushing the truck in to the building for Engine 33/Tanker 3 placing the unit officially in service. Engine 33/Tanker 3 is a 2013 Rosenbauer Commander Chasis Pumper Tanker. It has a Cummins 500 HP engine with a 1500 GPM Hale pump and 2,000 gallons of water on board. This unit will serve a dual purpose as a front line pumper and tanker for the many years to come.
