Early Evening MVA

Units from Solomons and St. Leonard were alerted to a single vehicle MVA. While en-route units were advised of single occupant and a pickup truck head-on into a tree with a subject being pulled out by bystanders. Crews arrived on scene to find the reported conditions. Sleep ins Run Early Morning Brush Fire

At 0623 hrs Solomons Volunteers were alerted to respond mutual aid to the Huntingtown area off Robinson Rd for a working woods fire. Quickly Brush 3 which trailered UTV 3 and Bx 3 responded 5 personal to assist. Once on scene about 25 to 30 mins later crews from Solomons quickly went to work in the woods assisting other crews from Calvert County and Forestry Service for 5-6 hours.

Ambulance 39 Final Inspection

Today members drove out to PL Custom to conduct the final inspection on Ambulance 39. Within in the next couple of weeks the Ambulance will be delivered to the station and lettered. Part of the lettering will be another mural within the star of life depicting another Southern Maryland feature completing our Ambulance murals.... (Full Story & Photos)

Rural Water Supply Drill

Total Solomons Volunteers and neighboring departments gathered in Saint Leonard at Jefferson Patterson Park to conduct a rural water supply drill. The departments within the county try to conduct these drills every couple of months to ensure that the volunteers in the county are well versed on what is need when operating on a fireground where a connection to a dedicated water supply is limited. ... Ambulance 39 Mid-point Inspection

Today several of the Solomons Volunteers drove out to PL Custom in Delaware to conduct the mid-point inspection on Ambulance 39. Ambulance 39 is ETA to be delivered in the beginning of November when it will get it lettering and mural placed on the unit at the station.
