Crews Within The Community

At 1000 hrs crews headed to Cove Point Park to assist with the 50th anniversary activities for the Calvert American Little League. Shortly after setting up the American Flag for the parade. At 1048 hrs Calvert 911 alerted the Solomons volunteers to a large column of smoke coming from the backside of the Appeal Land Fill. At approximately 2233 hrs 911 dispatch received a phone call from an alarm company stating that a home at 211 Sailboat Court was fully involved. Quickly Solomons, St Leonard, Prince Frederick, Huntington, Hollywood, Bay District, Leonardtown, Medic Unit, and the south duty chief were dispatched to the scene.
